Melissa Lozada is a Venezuelan-American performer born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She is a singer, dancer, musical theater actor, and bilingual artist who appreciates bridging cultural gaps through the performing arts. She is active within the Charlotte performing arts, having performed with the Children’s Theater of Charlotte, Three Bone Theater, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, and the Carolina Theater under the direction of Broadway’s Charles Randolph-Wright.

Recently, she has performed at Three Bone Theater as the titular character in “Electricidad”, the Children’s Theater of Charlotte in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” and in the Off-Broadway world premiere of “Oz in the Amazon.” A 2023 graduate from UNC Greensboro, she is dedicated to bringing the arts to the new generation in an accessible and welcoming way. By day, she is a teaching artist at the Children’s Theater of Charlotte, teaching drama and dance to kids of all ages.
